A round mirror makes a great statement. It softens a square regimented room and adds a touch of drama.  Mirrors add to a bathroom and dress up a mantle piece.

A black one – especially a convex one – adds a stunning feature to a white wall.

IKEA makes a gorgeous timber one which could make a great light trick highlighting a great feature of your home.  A view or pretty outside plant or tree can be reflected, or a favourite ornament can be shown off.  Make sure not showing things you don’t want to see  – i.e. the roof !!

The trick is to hang them  lower than you would a painting and at a place to show off the best features.
